My background is in construction and in all honesty, I am extremely dissappointed in the quality of new construction homes. I researched all the common building methods. Initially, I found Modular homes to be a better build, then I discovered Structurally Insulated Panels that have a foam core - stronger and a better envelope. Then my research landed me on the best product available (in my opinion). The Panels we use are roughly double the insulation value of others and are fireproof, boasting no VOC's to protect your family (other SIP panels have a core that melts / can be cut with a hot knife)
